Halfway In.

Lunch! Yum Yum


I Love my food, enough said. (The End)

I am only kidding, i am so stuck on things to take to work for lunch, i do not really like a sandwich that much (its not very filling for me!) i am fat i want loads of food that is going to get me through the day!


So i have been thinking of trying out loads of different new recipes.

First of i am going to have a fumble through some websites and recipe books to find some quick simply easy lunch recipes.

I will keep you up to date with that, so keep a look out on my blog or collection page for recipes.



So today i have a new laptop arriving, (my old one broke, like ages ago) so i finally decided to get a new one delivered, i am at work all day :( so can not see it till i get home, but i am very excited as it comes with Microsoft Word (what i need to do my work) will post photo on my collection of it when my phone arrives :(

Talking about my phone, it is still at the shop getting fixed, they said it be a 2-3 week wait so am not expecting it any time soon.

Whats New?

Been A While Since I Posted!

 

Ok!

So my American Horror Stories That me and my partner are watching at the moment is coming to an end :(
We are stuck on what to watch next, we really want to do another TV series marathon, (if you have recommendations please let me know) i am sure i will let people know what we watch next when we find something new.



We watch Dont Tell The Bride every Wednesday on BBC Three, some of them are pretty funny!

I miss him so much when im working and when i get home i am so tired :( i really just want to spend time with him and my son like we use to, it is so hard getting use to this routine but i am trying and with the support from my partner we will get their, i just cant wait till things are back to how they were and i am not tired all the time and i can stay up with my partner hehe and watch scary and comedy movies!! ♡


 Also.

Just wanted to let people know my workouts are still going great!

My Mums Cross-trainer arrived and i absolutely love it, it is pretty tough a lot tougher than the 3 Mile Walk but it works better, I am doing 6 miles + on the cross trainer and i do it for about 45 minutes a day, and days that i feel tired  i do the 3 Mile Walk instead, - I am still doing my sequence exercises where i am doing 20+ Squats, backups pushups and planking. (still have not got my 60 seconds yet!)


Also just wanted to let everyone know my phone has been sent away and wont be available until 2-3 time so any photos i have ready to upload wont be until then.

BAD DAY :(

So i am having a pretty bad day today and yes it is only 9.00am! 


 

So last night my phone decided it wanted to have a strange terrible breakdown! :( It has officially just died, so i picked my phone up the whole screen went blue and then suddenly just blacked out and went dead, i tried to switch it back on nothing happened, so i tried to plug it in see if it would charge, got nothing, i have tried resetting it and nothing happens so i left it alone and went to bed.

So i woke up this morning the weather is just awful today, it is raining and horrible i was not feeling to great myself i got in the shower got ready to go to work was running a bit late, i tried plugging my phone in again to see if anything would happen, and it came up with the charging logo but it was not charging i then unplugged it did it again and it started charging so i left it charging for bit as was in rush to go work tried to switch it on and it froze at the Samsung Galaxy screen and then blacked out again!

As i got to work i realized i forgot my lunch! and being the summer holidays nothing is open at the college (BUMMER!)  luckily i work with wonderful colleagues (that i actually like) and they took me up to the shop to get some lunch,where i managed to grab a pizza slice and a bottle of water! (i know not very healthy) i had no idea where anything was in the shop so i asked someone to show me where it all was and they had no idea either! (He must of been new!) so he grabbed someone else and asked them, they then showed me where it all was (YAY) so i got to the counter and then the card machine was not working, after about 3 attempts of it not reading my card he moved me to another isle, (it worked) i then went back to work.

As i bought new shoes yesterday, (will upload photo when i get new phone) i have such terrible blisters! it hurts so much so i got these massive plasters for the first aid box and popped them on the back of my heel and put some tissue in place so it does not rub as much :(

My Birthday Tomorrow So At Least This Is Happening Today.

Anyone have any advice on my phone please help. (THANKYOU)

RESULTS

Result Indeed...

 

So  So as people know it has been two weeks and i have weighed myself again,

So my start of weigh was:

Weight: 10:11 (10lbs 11oz)

Fat:  28.0%

Water: 53.8

And after two weeks of drinking more water and diet lemonade eating a bit more healthier (was not a strict diet) and doing some easy workouts and my sequence exercises I currently weigh at:

 

Weight:10:3 (10lb 3oz)

Fat: 27.0%

 Water: 51.6

So i lost a whole 8lbs in 2 weeks,  (I know, it is not a massive change) but just doing easy simple healthy workouts and eating a bit healthier it has been amazing results for two weeks. (just think if i started the insanity)

AHH

My Birthday

 

So it is my 21st birthday next week! Yep that's right 21 (feeling bit old)

I do not really know what to do for it, i am going for a meal as me lovely parents are taking me out.


Myself and my partner want to celebrate it (Duh, of course) but i have no idea what i really want to do! So need ideas i am such an outdoor person and up for anything, I even thought about going camping with just jack (my partner) but the weather here is never good!!

DAY TEN

Day Ten


My last post i am doing daily, after today i will be posting updates fortnightly when i weigh myself, (will explain in this post)


Breakfast- Oat Porridge
Snack- Go Ahead Bar
Lunch - Salmon Paste Sandwich with a tracker bar
Snack - Go Ahead Bar
Dinner - Steak and Jacket Potato (all light butter and sauces)


I done my 3 mile walk, (Yay) as many people know by now i really enjoy this, thinking of starting the cardio workout again as i only done this once, but will keep everyone updated.

I Then done a following of exercise sequences:

20 Squats
20 Sit Ups

Planked for 26 seconds (Yay 6 seconds longer, i will get their!)

DAY NINE

Day Nine


Okay so Day Nine is here, (a day late)


Breakfast - Tracker Bar
Snack - Go Ahead Snack
Lunch - Chicken wrapped in back and cheese with BBQ sauce (a bit naughty but was great)
Snack - Go Ahead Snack
Dinner - Sausage Casserole with carrots and roast potatoes (i know roast potatoes)


So i done my 3 mile walk, my legs are feeling a lot better this day (still ache a bit)

I Then done a following of exercise sequences:

20 Squats
20 Sit Ups

Planked for 20 seconds


I am trying to find good exercises for my thighs and bum (any advice tips for this would be great)

DAY EIGHT

Day Eight

 

Day Eight is here. (only posting up to Friday, then will do weekly or fortnightly)

Breakfast - Tracker Bar

Dinner Chicken Curry

(AGAIN)


Done my three mile walk again after dinner, feels great it is just like a daily routine for me now.




I then done my exercise sequence:
20 Squats
20 Sit ups
 
They both just feel great now when i do them, they do still ache and makes me sweat but feels so healthy :)

I then planked for 20 seconds. (will reach my 60 seconds!)
I am looking at doing different exercises that aim just at my bum and thighs. (Again if anyone has any good ones please comment and let me know, i have had some good advice so far but would love more)

DAY SEVEN

Day Seven

Day Seven.

I Done my Three Mile Walk after i ate my Dinner, feeling good.

Felt Amazing today, back of my legs/thighs are feeling it the most but feeling a lot better.

After i finish posting my progress after 2 weeks i am going to post my weight then i will most likely stop posting these every day and maybe do a weekly/fortnightly progress.

GOODBYE, FIRST TOOTH

NAWW.. This is so adorable.


 

So i had to share this with everyone, my son has lost his first baby tooth.

 

It is so adorable and he looks so cute, 

so he was playing his Xbox in his room so my partner was downstairs making lunch, he came downstairs to where my partner was and said:

"I found this in my mouth" where he held up a little tiny tooth, no one even knew that it was wobbly.


Anyway had to share this cute photo of my son and his tooth. (he is very excited to get some money of the tooth fairy tonight)



MY WEEKEND

My Weekend (YAY)

 

So i had a amazing weekend. (despite the weather change)

As people know i had my lovely long weekend off as i had no work Friday or Monday. 

Friday:


I had a relaxing morning watching films with my little man. (he loves Netflix) (Will Put a Link for the Netflix Community at the End)
I then had a chilled day and evening in the garden playing football with my son and partner :) it is amazing my son loves playing this with my partner more than me haha, (must be a lad thing) not the fact im rubbish haha and then me and my partner spent a good hour or so sunbathing, i even took some photos of him and sent him some funny mug shots with funny little stories he then done the same back, he is amazing i do love my little family so much.

Saturday:

 

This was my best day! Me, My son and My partner got a boat over to Mount Edgecombe where we fed the ducks, had a lovely picnic on the grass and of course went into the sea on the little beach they have. We also managed to have a go on the shuttle bus that take you around the little island where we went right to the top where they had amazing little shops and cafes with a lovely play areas up the top.

The only bad bit was wasps my partner got stung by one it was horrible :( i hated it i didnt know what to do they kept following us every where.

Sunday:


As everyone knows, Sunday we went to see Ronald MacDonald in the City Centre McFatties for my son, he loved him (i found him a bit creepy, but he was very funny in end)  He sat down and had a chat with my son and made him laugh, also they were doing face paints so he got his face painted as well :) me and my partner loved seeing how happy he was (and we both like ronald hahaha)

Monday:

As the weather was absolutely horrible this day we all had a chilled day in playing Xbox, where we played Lego Marvel with my son, then me and my partner played Advanced Warfare when he was in bed. We didnt play it for long, we lit some candles and put some netflix on, (yes binge watching again)

Day Six

 Monday 10 August

 

So here it is Day Six, I Said on a previous post today i will be starting a cardio, and here is how it went.

I went to start my 37 minute cardio, it was so tough, i was out of breath so fast, felt so tough :(

Lunch - Spicy Chicken Pasta with Dried Onions

Dinner - Chicken Curry With Rice And Pappadoms and Naan Bread

I done my 3 Mile Walk after dinner, as usual this one felt great, it got very sweaty but completed it all and felt so good.

20 Sqauts
20 Sit Ups

No Planking or  Push Ups as Cardio Was Enough For Today.

DAY FIVE

Day Five



As i said before, it is Friday and i have the day of work so did not want to post anything over weekend and was spending as much time as i could with my family.

Okay so here it is:

Breakfast - I had my left over of spicy chicken pasta with dried onions.
Snack - Go Ahead Snack Bar
Lunch - Salmon Paste Sandwich
Snack - Go Ahead Snack Bar
Dinner - Beef Curry With Rice.
I was a bit naughty this day and had a Yorkie with raisins for dessert.

I done my three mile walk before i had my dinner, it felt good, it was more achy today :( i struggled a bit through the second mile but worked through it.

On Monday I am starting some cardio workouts, will post what ones i choose to do on Mondays Post!


I Proceed To Do These Exercise Sequence:

15 Squats 
20 Sit Ups
Tried doing push ups again still need practice :( 
(I am just managing to be able to do one women's push up)

So Today was a good day for me, i decided i will weigh my self after 2 weeks on Sunday 16 August

DAY FOUR

Day Four

How i feel from yesterday? well.. my legs feel so achy and stiff, i think those squats are defiantly working, (feels amazing)  

JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW MY PHOTOS HAVE BEEN UPLOADED OF ME ONTO MY COLLECTION.

Day four is here, and i felt more energetic than ever,,, so i thought i would spice my day up a bit differently today, and (wow) it was a brilliant choice.

Today

I set my alarm for 5:30, 5:35. 5:40 (i know crazy, but i wanted to fit in a workout before work) 
So i managed to be up and downstairs by 5:40 and loaded up my 3 Mile Walk and of i went by 5:45 i was doing the walk, i managed to finish it and it felt so amazing. 
I decided to do it in the morning because i wanted to wake up and feel that energy i do at night, and i am glad i did, it got me ready for my day, I then manage to have a shower, eat breakfast and get ready for work all by 8:00.

Breakfast - Oat Porridge 
Snack 10:00ish  - Go Ahead Snack Bar - Strawberry Flavor
Lunch 12:00ish - Chicken Curry, Rice and a Poppadum
Snack 2:00ish   - Go Ahead Snack Bar -   Strawberry Flavor
Dinner - spicy chicken pasta with dried onions (yum)
Again i have drank nothing but water! (woo) - its day four and all i have drank is water.

I Done another 3 Mile Walk because it is just so healthy and feels good. I want to prepare my self for the insanity workout, (maybe one more week)



 I Proceed To Do These Exercise Sequence:

10 Squats 
10 Sit Ups
Tried doing push ups again still practicing.

I also done planking again and lasted a whole 20 seconds again. 
My goal is to try and achieve 60 seconds, (i am not their yet) then last longer each time, 
( i may think about uploading a video of me doing the plank soon?)

So after a long day I feel even more shattered and really feeling it in my muscles tonight.

RONALD MACDONALD

Excited

So i received a email yesterday from the place i got my carpet and it has been dispatched, so i am hoping it will arrive today or tomorrow!
I will upload a little sneak peek photo of what color i choose without giving away what it looks like in my room, (want to show the whole room together when it is done)



Friday Tomorrow!

So i have the day of work tomorrow, to me it is very exciting! (I love days of, dont we all?)
Thinking maybe going swimming, or to the central park (cench) I decided not to go to Paighton Zoo this weekend as weather has been of all week, do not want to risk it.

I will not be posting on my blog on days i get of work, as i like to spend time with family



Sunday!

 

This Sunday on the 9th Ronald MacDonald will be coming to the City Centers MCFATTIES
He will be giving out balloons, letting people take photos and performing magic tricks, SO this Sunday i will be taking my son along to MacDonalds so he can watch. (hopefully it will be a little entertaining)

So i will let people know now i will most likely have a mcfatties on Sunday, i will just have to do a workout that day instead of having day of. :D

I will post photos on Tuesday 11 August, as you know i do not post weekends but it is also my day of work Monday 10 as well.

DAY THREE

Day Three

Here it is, My Day Three. (Fitness Workout)

So I woke up in such a great mood this morning, I had a shower and went to make my lunch for today. So here it is.

Breakfast -  Banana And Kiwi Smoothie. (Photo and How I Made It On Photo Collection)
Snack 10:00ish - Go Ahead Snack - Strawberry Flavor.
Lunch 12:00ish- Tuna and (light) Salad Cream, with a Toffee Muller (light) Yoghurt (Find Photo on Photo Collection)
Snack 2:15ish - Go Ahead Snack Bar - Strawberry Flavor
Dinner - Chicken Curry and Rice (Yummy)

I Done My Workout after I ate, again it felt amazing, i am starting to feel more stiff now though and my muscles are really achy, (I think i am going to be stiff for few days/weeks yet) I loved it felt so energetic.


Then After I ate and had some quality time with my son, me and my partner proceed to do our sequence work out. He is such a gem helping me out, as i struggle to do these ones.

  • 5 Sqauts
  • 5 Sit Ups
  • I tried to do 5 push ups but I'm still struggling to do these, I only managed to do one so need to keep practicing these and I will get their :(

We then decided to do planking. I lasted for - 20 whole seconds, (they are pretty tough) going to try and last 5 seconds longer each day.

 And I Tell You Why I Wanted To Do It And How:

BENEFITS


Plank helps you to build strength in your core, upper and lower body so its a good full body work out. You do not need any equipment to perform this exercise all you need is a bit of space, and it really helps improve flexibility by stretching muscles and will improve posture if performed regularly.

MUSCLE GROUPS WORKED

The plank works almost every main muscle and here are a few: deltoids, biceps, triceps, obliques, rectus abdominis, latissimus dorsi, pectorals major, gluteus maximus, quadriceps, hamstrings, gastrocnemius.

HOW TO DO A PLANK

  1. Start by getting into a press up position.
  2. Bend your elbows and rest your weight on your forearms and not on your hands.
  3. Your body should form a straight line from shoulders to ankles.
  4. Engage your core by sucking your belly button into your spine.
  5. Hold this position for the prescribed time. 

So i would say a pretty good day so far will update you again tomorrow.

DAY TWO

Day Two Fitness


Okay so i know i still have not posted any photos of my before fitness yet, (i promise they are to come) I have been so busy with organizing my new room I have not had a chance to get my partner to take a photo of me, (I know a photo takes 2 seconds) so photos are to come of me before fitness training and I will also upload photos of my room at the moment and then one when it is finished! 

Okay so Day Two:

Breakfast: Go Snack Bars - Strawberry Flavor
Snack about 11:30ish - Go Snack Bar - Strawberry Flavor
Lunch about 12:30-1:00ish - Fruity Beef Casserole With Rice
Snack about 3:30-4:00ish Go Snack Bar - Strawberry Flavor 
Dinner about 6:30ish - Chicken Pie, Roast Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts and Carrots
I Drank Water Throughout The Day. 
Okay so their was not a lot of healthy options in this day at all. 
But i did say i was not going on a strict diet, (that will soon to come)

I done my 3 mile walk at about 7ish


 It felt amazing, again i did sweat i was achy and feeling stiff by bed time, but it was worth it,
So far i think it is going great, (if you sweat, your doing something right)

I did not do my sequence of exercise tonight as my son had a friend over so was looking after them till he left and then got my son to bed and had a chilled evening with my partner, I will throw in some extra exercises on Sunday (my original day of from workouts)

NETFLIX

All About Me And My Netflix ;)

Hope you all enjoy reading, wanted to share with you my love for Netflix.                (Because who does not love Netflix, right?)             



So the winning vote was TV shows so i am going to talk about TV shows i love to watch,,
So I binge watch, (A lot) At the moment i love my TV shows on Netflix, Here are some good ones that i liked and watched.

  • The Vampire Diaries
  • The Originals
  • Pretty Little Liars
  • The Good Wife
  • Prison Break
  • Charmed
  • Once Upon A Time
  • American Horror Story (only liked the first one so far)
  • Orange is The New Black 

Okay so i watch a lot of different genres. Their are still more seasons that i have came out that i have not seen yet or have yet to come out,
Once Upon a Time next season is suppose to come out on TV some time around September i think so i am keeping my fingers crossed (because it was awesome)

The Originals and The Vampire Diaries is still on going for me, I am still not certain if their is a next season for The Originals but i do hope so, and as for The Vampire Diaries,, well i heard their was a season 7 coming out, though it will be so sad because Nina (Elena) has left the show :(

3 More Days To Friday!

This is just a bit of this and a bit of that post.

I really enjoyed my fitness training last night, oh i sweat and was completely out of breath but it felt awesome!  ( if you have not read my Day One do so here Click Me )

So.. It is Tuesday,, the weather is absolutely horrible, but it is three more days to Friday which is exciting, not just because it is a Friday but because i have the day of work Friday and Monday! so i have a super long weekend!

I was originally going to go to Butlins this weekend but had a change of plan and decided not to book it as weather was not looking to great.
 So i am maybe thinking of doing some fun activities inside with my son, if the weather brightens up then maybe go to Paighton Zoo or something. 

My carpet for my bedroom will be arriving in about 3/4 days! Ahhh i am so excited, Eek (everyone loves a new carpet, right?)

So i requested so many samples for my carpet, and finally found one i liked!
( I will post photos of the samples i got onto my collection link can be found at bottom of page)

So i am excited about learning new things on my blogging page, i am learning different customs for page layout and the template of it, i am learning to add links to different post, I want to carry on learning new things and just keep updating it as i go along.

DAY ONE

 Day One Fitness

 So....


Weight - 10 stone 11 (Yes I am a bit overweight)
Height- 5.5 (find pictures at end of blog)

 

Okay so here is how my DAY ONE went.  Eek


  •  Breakfast - Sausage and egg Mcmuffin with a coke from McDonald.                                     What? I did say it was not a strict diet! 

  •  Lunch - Chicken and Pineapple with some peppers and rice.
  •  Drank Flavored water - Orange & Mandarin throughout the day.

Okay,, so for someone who in not a water lover, i really enjoyed my flavored drink!
I did not really have time to snack throughout day, due to being in work, but if and when i do snack i will let you know..

After work I came home and decided to do my first exercise - The 3 Mile Walk

How did i find it? well.... let me tell you!
I actually loved it... I did sweat and got tired out, but It felt so good, and I was having fun :)
I would recommend it, (I will let people know how I feel in morning)

I then decided to have some Dinner before doing my sequence exercise.
  • Dinner - Sweet and Sour Chicken with Rice
  • Drink - A glass of lemonade

So after a long day I then tucked my son up into bed after playing hide and seek and reading the very hungry caterpillar
I then decided to proceed with some sit ups, press ups and squats,  I will start with doing a sequence 5 sets of each, for 20 minutes. Tonight I only done a few to get comfortable with how my body potion is.

Hope everyone enjoyed reading and even had a go at doing any of these.

Since Last Time (:

Okay..

So before i tell you a bit about my master plan, I will just explain why i have not wrote a post since Wednesday last week,

On Thursday I went into work feeling very blue.. I was very unwell, I had headaches, pains going through my belly and my manager sent me home, i was then off sick Thursday and Friday, i was not very well half the day Saturday but was starting to feel back to normal by about Saturday evening, and of course i do not do my blogs over the weekend.

So i had some time to think about what i would be doing with my fitness! Eek , so excited because i am starting TODAY!

So i have decided to start of nice and easy by starting with a 3 mile walk. (not walking somewhere 3 miles)
And by doing a sequence of exercises.
I will be eating healthier, but i will NOT be going on a strict diet, i will be drinking more smoothies and more water... (grr i am one of these that does not really like water)

So as this is just my post of what i will be doing as i have now decided i will do my next post later tonight, or tomorrow morning of more detail on what i am doing step by step, i will post my photos of what i look like now, i will give my weight, height etc...  ---- The reason i am doing posting it in more detail later or tomorrow morning as because i have been unwell and with juggling a partner kid and work i have not got round to taking my photo, and i want to post it all together in one!
